At Crystal Blue Golden Retrievers Home, we take every measure to ensure your Golden Retriever puppy travels in comfort and arrives safely in your arms. Whether you’re nearby or across the country, we’ll make sure your puppy’s journey is smooth, safe, and as stress-free as possible.
Air Travel with Care
Your Golden Retriever will travel in a climate-controlled cabin area for pets, inside an airline-approved carrier. Prior to travel, you’ll receive the flight number, arrival time, and a reference/airbill number to identify your puppy. We handle all the travel arrangements — all you need to do is pick up your puppy at the airport, just like greeting a friend or family member.
We’ve been safely shipping dogs for over 11 years, and we prefer non-stop, direct flights whenever possible to minimize travel time and ensure comfort.
Most puppies arrive within 24 hours of shipping, depending on your location. Shipping is safe and stress-free, and our experience has shown that puppies typically arrive happy, calm, and well-adjusted.
Travel Comfort & Crate Familiarization
We use airline-approved plastic pet kennels that are customized based on your puppy’s size, the distance, and travel duration. Crates are clearly marked with “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers, along with your destination, contact info, and confirmation number.
Before shipping, we help your puppy get familiar with the crate to avoid stress. We also include plenty of food and water in the crate to ensure your puppy stays nourished and hydrated—even if travel is unexpectedly delayed.
We only ship when weather conditions are safe, prioritizing the health and well-being of your puppy above all. We typically ship Monday to Saturday, and we will never ship during hazardous weather.
Puppy Nanny Service (VIP Delivery)
For the safest and most personal experience, we offer a puppy nanny service. A dedicated and reliable Airline Nanny will escort your puppy in-cabin and hand-deliver them directly to you. This ensures maximum comfort and personalized attention throughout the journey.
Health Certificate & Requirements
A veterinary health certificate is included with every puppy shipment, as required by all airlines. This guarantees your puppy is healthy and fit to travel.
We ask that you please:
- Be ready at the airport or home when your puppy arrives.
- Present a valid ID (such as a driver’s license) at pick-up.
- Take your puppy to your veterinarian within 48 hours for a routine health check-up.
Once your puppy is home, we love to hear from you! Please call or email us to confirm their safe arrival. We’ll also follow up within 24 hours to make sure everything is perfect and to answer any questions you may have.
